Authentic Executive and Leadership Coach – Balance-focused Business Coach – Compassion-focused Life Coach
About me
My goal is to provide a safe space for exploring your values, clarifying your goals, and developing the courage to act on what truly matters to you. Whatever you wish to accomplish, I fully believe that you have all the answers within you. As your coach, I'll be beside you, supporting you to unlock the insights and potential you have to meet your goals.
My top 5 character strengths are love, curiosity, leadership, kindness, and bravery. I strive to use these in a balanced way to be the best-possible thinking partner for you. I have an eclectic approach to coaching – meaning I draw from a diverse range of tools and coaching and psychology-based frameworks. That means your coaching "program" is entirely bespoke to you and designed by partnering together with you. My priorities are to be present, listen actively and empathetically, and ask the right type of questions to evoke new insights about yourself and your situations.
I'm parent to three children, have dual American and Finnish citizenship, and currently live outside Helsinki. Backed by 20 years experience in marketing, brand, and communications, I started coaching in 2019 when I became the manager of seven talented marketers. In 2024, I decided to fully pursue my passion for coaching.
Experience
I have 20+ years experience in marketing, brand, and communications. I started coaching in 2019 when I joined the executive team of a global tech company headquartered in Finland. I served as VP Marketing for nearly 5 years, coaching and leading a team of 7 talented marketers amongst many others in our company from software engineers to HR folks. In 2024, I decided to fully pursue my passion for coaching. I am a fully certified, EMCC accredited coach – see more in the qualifications section!
In addition to paid clients, I'm a volunteer transformational and career coach for the Herizon Community, a Finnish nonprofit founded with a mission of employing all the international talents in the region in the most impactful, cost-efficient, and sustainable way.
I have DEI and anti-racism training, and welcome adults of all ages, abilities, cultures, and genders. LGBTQIA2S-friendly.
Qualifications
I am a Certified Professional Executive Coach through the Henley School of Business (University of Reading, UK), and hold EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Community) EIA Practitioner level accreditation.
In progress: I'm also a member coach of ICF (International Coaching Federation), working towards ACC accreditation. In March 2025, I will begin the Professional Certification in Team Coaching program with Henley School of Business (University of Reading, UK), and also Certified Board Member training through the Finnish Chamber of Commerce.
