My passion lies in assisting organizations and leaders in cultivating inclusive team and leadership cultures.
Envision a culture that embraces true inclusivity and diversity—a place where everyone is attuned to each other's desires, aspirations, fears, and frictions. Imagine a culture where discussions about strengths are frequent and constructive, shaping individuals' mindsets and work approaches, and where decisions and strategies are formulated based on individual or team strengths. A culture where 'work' and 'thriving' are synonymous—wouldn't that be something worth striving for?
Hello there! I'm Marika, an Executive Coach (PCEC Henley Business School) and Certified Strengths Coach with over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership.
In my career, I've held various roles at H&M Group, including Country Manager, Global HR Generalist, Sales Manager, Head of Merch, and Country Visual Manager. These experiences have given me valuable insights into coaching's transformative power, driving positive business results and change initiatives. That's why I passionately advocate for a Coach Approach to Management—I believe when leaders embrace coaching mindsets, it benefits everyone in the organization.
My various positions at H&M Group have equipped me to navigate complex organizational structures, foster cross-collaboration, and drive successful outcomes together with leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds which has provided me with multicultural and multinational experience.
At the core of my coaching philosophy is the creation of a space for leaders to pause, engage in their best thinking, embrace new perspectives, and ultimately make informed decisions that positively impact the broader system in which they operate. Drawing from evidence-based methodologies like person-centered coaching, cognitive-behavioral coaching, solution-focused coaching, and strengths-based coaching, I firmly believe in the extraordinary capabilities within each person. By starting the journey of personal development from a place of strength, the impact of changes becomes exponentially greater.
To enhance this process, I integrate psychometric tools such as CliftonStrengths 34 reports, 16 Personalities, VIA Character Strengths, or DISC, offering clients valuable insights to help leaders gain awareness and appreciation of their strengths and potential blind spots.
If you are curious to explore how coaching can help you and your organisation close the gap between where you are today and where you would like to be, I warmly invite you to reach out by reserving a free 30 min long introductory call.
